No, no, no. Tempered glass will shatter into hundreds of

small pieces if cut and if you took a piece and tried to just grind on the

edge, it would do the same.

The only glass grinders I know are the ones used to grind the
Super Angel
edges smooth for stained glass work. They have water on the grinding wheel

all the time, & the wheel is vertical so you hold the glass horizontal

which is easy to do. If you don't use water, you get a somewhat chipped

edge & little chips of glass flying everywhere. I am not sure about this,

but I also think that if you grind dry & the glass chips, you might get
fractures resulting from the chips because glass is actually a liquid.
When you cut it, you are breaking the surface tension on it, this is the
principle that glass cutters work on. You know how if you get a crack in a
windshield, it can travel across the glass? The same sort of thing can
happen if you chip the edge of a piece of glass so you must grind very
finely to avoid that happening. They do make sandpaper to smooth the edges
of glass with. That might be better than a grinder not meant for glass.

You might be able to cut it with a diamond wheel on your
Booger
grinder, but I think you need to keep the cutting surface cool. The worst

that can happen is you have to sweep up a bunch of little pieces.
